ARGUMENT
Our society, a society marked by competition and
competence, needa people who stand out through what they know and what they can
do with honesty and dignity for their people. There are such people, maybe too
few, but among them there is the TEACHER.
What is the teacher’s mission ?
The Teacher is the one who is aware of all the changes in
the social life, permanently adapting to the new. To be a teacher means an
assumed risk. The true teacher is the one who teaches his/her students how to
appreciate and valorize themselves and others. They teach their students how to
know their limits and how to live with them, how to defend and sustain their
opinions.
The
Contest for students and Symposium for teachers „My Dear Teacher” wants to be
an event complementary to the events at
national level, organised to celebrate TEACHER’s DAY on the 5th of June. It is
also a means through which the students and their teachers vibrate in unison,
share their thoughts, feelings and, why not?, their wishes and expectations.It
is also an exchange of best practices through which we all get „richer”.

Aims:
Expressing, discovering and
stimulating the creative and artistic potential of the students in the
pre-school, primary, middle school and high school.
Presenting the importance and
the role of the most celebrated teachers, who, through their work, have
contributed to the sustenance, consolidation and activation of the school life
and mission.
GENERAL OBJECTIVE
Promoting the respect for the fundamental educational,
cultural, aesthetic, artistic and social values and the cometitive relationship
through tighter bonds between teacher and student in the educational
institutions.
TARGET GROUP
For the contest - students from kindergarten,
primary, middle and high school;
For the Sympoaium – teachers and school councilors.
Participants can choose any of the themes proposed by the
organisers.
DATE and Place
The visual arts creations and drawings, etc. will be sent
to the addresses mentioned below and the literary texts and papers for
symposium will be sent to the coordinators for the respective sections (see the
table below).
The DEADLINE for sending the materials is the 20th of June 2019
The Symposium will be held with
indirect participation (send your articles by email) ; the dissemination
will be done on the project blog ; the exhibition with the students’ arts
exhibits will be held in the organising school : Școala Gimnaziala ”V.

The students’ creations, as well
as the papers for the Symposium, can be written in Romanian, English or French.
Project Implementation Programme :

II.
INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM
The Symposium addresses all teachers, from any educational
institution (kindergarten, primary/ middle school or high school), no matter
the subject taught, as well as school counselors.
Themes for thr Symposium:
1. Innovative teaching projects
2. School magazines and specialized magazines in electronic format
3. Innovative teaching materials
4. International exhibition “Teachers and students in the past and
today”
Organizational issues:
Paper format: The
papers (max. 2 pages) will be written in format
A4, font Times New Roman, Font size 14. Title in Bold. Author, coordinator and
institution - two rows bellow the title, font size 12 Bold. The text should be
written two rows bellow, Fost Times New Roman, font size 12, line and paragraph
spacing 1.5
The students’ literary works will be send in English or French to the emails of
the co-ordinating teachers (see the table above). Please also attach in the
email the scanned copies of the Partnership Accord between our institutions, as
well as the Parental written accord, all with the dates and signatures.
The students’ arts exhibits (drawings, paintings, photos, collages, models,
etc.) will be sent by regular post to the following postal addresses:
For Pre-school –

The arts exhibits: (drawings,
caricatures, paintings, collages), will be done on paper, European format A4
or A3, respecting the contest theme. Each work will be labelled with the
exhibit theme, the students’ name, class, school, town/village, country, their
coordinating teacher’s name. The scanned
caricatures will be sent on the following email: detavisign@gmail.com
All artistic exhibits will be
sent through post, on the addresses of the schools until 20.06.2019. On the
envelope, please mention “For the International Contest “My dear Teacher”
Paper format for the teachers’ Symposium: The papers will be written using
format A4, Font Times New Roman, font size 14 Bold for the title. Two rows
bellow: the author and institution, in Times New Roman 12 Bold. The text, two
rows bellow, in Times New Roman 12, line and paragraph spacing 1.5.
The papers which do not respect the technical requests will not be
published.
The teachers’ papers will be sent in attachment to the following email address :
They will be accompanied
by the scanned partnership accord
between our institutions filled in with your school’s data, signed and stamped
by the Principal.
EVALUATION of the works :
The
Evaluation of the students’ works
will be done according to the following criteria : individual contribution,
talent, originality and imagination proved in the work, the degree of
complexity and work volume of the student, creating a balanced and expressive
plastic art space, which respect the plastic art language elements as well
asthe correctness of the forms and sentences. The section coordinators from the
three organising schools will evaluate the students’ works and will send the
diplomas in email to the coordinating teachers. 30% of the students will get
prizes.
Project promotion and dissemination :
The project will be disseminated and promoted on the
project blog, on Facebook and in massmedia ; the contest project portfolio
(list of all participants) ; an ebook with all the teachers’ papers an
students’ creations, published with ISBN, questionnaires, evaluation sheets,
feedback from teachers, students and their parents ; photos, fliers,
posters, prize awarding.

ü Certificate that proves the fact that they have
participated in activities that promote the equity in education
ü Certificate that proves the presentation of innovative
didactic projects
ü Certificate that proves the promoting of the best image
of their institution which can improve the quality of the educational process
ü Certificate of participation to the elaboration of the
Guide of best practices, published with ISBN
ü Certificate that you are co-author of an educationa
resource published in electronic format on platforms for students

Duration
of the accord:
The accord is active as soon it is signed and is valid
during the implementation period.
6.
Final
clauses of the accord:
The project ”MY DEAR TEACHER” is an extra-school activity
which promotes the collaboration between educational institutions from Romania
and other countries.
The present contract is made in 2 copies, one
for each institution.
